1. SMS facility
Lead India Publishers Association is the single association which is using sms facility to provide information to its member. Through this service LIPA informs its members about the time of e-filing in RNI, DAVP. Other important information also sent to members through sms. It helps most to the publishers working in remote areas of country like Assam, Andaman and Nicobar, and other UTs.
2. Mission Website
Lead India Publishers Association started its mission website in Oct. 2010 to make the members technical sound, faster and more competitive with largely circulated newspaper and News Channels. Under this mission LIPA providing very high-tech website to its member on very low cost. There are 9 different layouts, out of them 3 are compatible to the standards required for DAVP empanelment.
3. Mobile APP
On the occasion of New Year in 2017 LIPA started to provide mobile app for its member on very low cost. In market mobile app facility starts from Rs. 30 to 40 thousand, but LIPA is providing it on very low cost. Mobile app is a very advance technology that can make regional media smarter and faster. All News channels and largely circulated newspaper are attracting their readers and advertisers through their mobile app.
4. Technical Assistance:
One can’t part away with technology in this age of information and technology. But, it is not possible for every regional media publication to have all technical knowledge. So, LIPA will provide all possible assistance in tackling the technical problems (computer related) through remote assistance. This service is free.
5. Online E filing
Everything is getting digital now the publisher has to use E-filing in RNI , DAVP empanelment, DAVP rate renewal process. But many publishers are not technical familiar to use this facility. So every year during AR filing in RNI in May and DAVP application filing during February and August and during rate renewal in September, LIPA provide this facility on very low cost.
6. Documentary Assistance:
All publishers have to fulfill various types of documentation in RNI, DAVP, PCI every year. Rules-regulations changes time to time. So for publishers it is very difficult to fulfill the documentation. LIPA’s advisor provides appropriate and accurate information about documentation.
7. Audit Assistance:
Many problems comes forth at the time of annual return filing in RNI and audit of the newspaper. LIPA provides the services of chartered accountant at lowest fee. So that, all kind of financial advice can be provide to members.
8. Consultancy:
Many time Regional media publishers not able to get DAVP or State advertisements or other benefits due to lack of information. Thus, Expert team of LIPA’s advisor provides information to all its members on time and provides them consultancy to complete the process. This service is free.
