New Delhi: Now the list of empanelment applied in august 2013 may be issue till next week. DAVP is violating its own policy as they are delaying to issue the list of empanelment. The list of empanelment was to be issued on last Monday ie., 10 Feb. 2014 although it is too much delayed already. According to the DAVP advertisement Policy 2007 the result of empanelment applied in
August 2013 must be declared in the month of November 2013. But its in the muddle till now.
DAVP is giving date on date and putting publisher in impasse as fresh empanelment has been started. Now the publishers who applied for the empanelment in August 2013 in confusion that should they to apply fresh empanelment of not. It’s the habit of DAVP to keep the Regional Newspaper’s publisher on trouble. Its every year practice now. Lead India Publishers Association is attending above 100 phone calls daily about this. Publishers of Regional media are very much disturbed as DAVP empanelment has much importance for them. In many state state government decides rate according to DAVP. Even in many states where there are no big industries or big advertiser DAVP is only source of income for Regional Newspaper who are the real torch bearer of Democracy. They are suffering most.
Now LIPA has decided to bring an effective tool that can fight for such problems. Regional media is devoid of any mouth peace hitherto. Now LIPA Journal is all set to raise the voice of Regional Newspapers publisher.
